Brent Stanton a 182cm, 83kg midfielder made his AFL debut in 2004. He was recruited from Banyule/Northern U18 and now plays for the Essendon Bombers. He was born in 1986.

Essendon ruckman David Hille has capped off an outstanding individual season by winning his first club best-and-fairest.
Avoiding a repeat of Essendon's horror injury run will be one of the club's aims during the 2008-09 pre-season campaign, coach Matthew Knights has said.
Essendon will be fired up as it attempts to send premiership heroes Adam Ramanauskas and Jason Johnson, and stalwarts Damien Peverill and Mal Michael, out in style.
Statistically, Geelong aside, Essendon is the form team in the competition at present and the Bombers have their resurgent midfield to thank for it.
Essendon has been playing with outstanding spirit over the past five rounds and, with something like a full list to choose from, they would probably go in as warm favourites against Collingwood.
After this week's round of matches, we must ask whether there's any point in us playing out the season. Is there any team that can challenge the Cats in September?
