Bartel hot, Ablett luke-warm fantasy insight

The teammate fight-to-the-Brownlow continued at Skilled Stadium in round 21, with Jimmy Bartel outshining Gary Ablett by 10 disposals (37 to 27). This has been the story of late - Bartel has been in scintillating form, whilst Ablett has struggled to find his early-to-mid season dominance.

From rounds 1-13, Ablett averaged 29.9 disposals whereas Bartel averaged 25.5. Since then, from rounds 14-21, Bartel has taken over the mantle, averaging 32.3 disposals compared to Ablett's 23.8. Going on form, if you need to choose a captain in your fantasy league, Bartel is a clear favourite. That is, of course, if you're lucky enough to have both superstars in your team.
