Jason Akermanis a 177cm, 85kg forward made his AFL debut in 1995. He was recruited from Mayne (QLD) / Brisbane Lions and now plays for the Western Bulldogs. He was born in 1977.

Fantasy owners with Jason Akermanis in their lineups for round 21 should be very happy with his final stat line from the Bulldogs win over Essendon on Friday night, with the out-of-form forward lucky to score well. Akermanis sneaked in 4 goals, nearly all gifted to him by teammates, and collected garbage-time disposals late in the game.
Although Akermanis had quite a consistent scoring first half of the season, his output and form has gone wayward since, much like the form of his team. He should be considered a risky start in the last round but, Aker being Aker... anything is possible.
